Education is undeniably an essential part for everyone to attain the knowledge, become empowered, and get the skills needed to make this world a better place. However, due to several reasons, such as lack of funds, several diligent and deserving minds are left behind.
Seeing all of this, Eric Dalius thought of coming up with a solution. After all, everyone owns a responsibility towards society. For this, Dalius has come forward with a scholarship program to provide financial aids to students for their further education.
‘The Eric J Dalius Scholarship’ is granted to the skillful young mind having the potential to introduce a change in the world of entrepreneurship. This grant is a medium for enabling talented students to get funds, which will lower the budget of high education costs.
In this program, an applicant is chosen and awarded $1,000 for completing his/her degree. The selected recipient is informed by email, and the amount is transferred to his/ her bank account. The candidate needs to acknowledge the receipt of the email received.
Eric Dalius has always been a person filled with innovation, and this can be seen in the method he chooses the right candidate. He doesn’t select the candidate on the basis of grades in the previous session, nor does he conduct any specific test for it. Rather, he chooses to learn about the way they think. For this, he asks them to compose an essay of nearly 800 words on the topic “Benefits of An Angel Investor.”
Talking of his education and professional life apart from supporting this grant, Eric Dalius began by completing his education at Penn State University in 1992. After this, he started with his professional experience. While gaining it, he surpassed his several opponents and competitors with his shrewdness and exemplary performances.
While being a part of MCI Telecom, Dalius earned the title of a leading sales representative of the United States. In the process of turning himself into a successful entrepreneur, he applied every moment and his diligence shrewdly.
Later, in 1994, he came forward with his first venture that was a telecommunications consultancy. This effort brought him great results till the 90s, after which he began working on other initiatives of the domain. Later, he got interested in building a way for himself in business coaching accountabilities. Now semi-retired, Eric Dalius aim to spread optimism and education with his work.
